HAID 2012 The Seventh International Workshop on Haptic and Audio Interaction Design

Location
The IKDC building
HAID takes place at Ingvar Kamprad Design Center. Sölvegatan 26, 223 62 Lund, Sweden. http://www.design.lth.se/english/the_department/directions/

Travel
To go to Lund, you would normally fly to Copenhagen airport, Kastrup (CPH). From there you take the train over the bridge to Lund C (takes just under 40 minutes). These trains go every 20 minutes. From the central station you take a taxi or the bus (see below).

There is also a smaller airport outside Malmö (Sturup). From this airport you take the bus to Lund which takes around 40 minutes. These buses go 1-2 times each hour (timetable: http://www.flygbussarna.se/Upload/Flygbussarna/tidtabeller/Tidtabeller2012/Mars-Juni/Tidtabell_Lund_21juni%20webb.pdf ). Get off at the stop Ideon - this is just outside IKDC.

Buses
From the central station you can take the bus line line 20 or 21 (direction Brunnshög). These buses depart from Clemenstorget by the northeast part of the station. Get off the bus at the stop Ideon, just outside IKDC. You can also take the regional buses 166 towards Södra Sandby or 169 towards Malmö. Also for these buses you get off at the stop Ideon, just outside IKDC.

Alternatively you can take the local bus 6 towards Linero, and get off att Kårhuset. from there it is approx. a 5 min walk to IKDC.

Accomodation
We would suggest you book a hotel either near IKDC or in the center of Lund. If you like you can also stay in Malmö. If you book a hotel near a train station (Central station or Triangeln station) it takes 10-15 minutes to get to Lund C. Walking from central Lund to IKDC takes 20-30 minutes.
